Qué pasó
The Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) approved the weekly price changes for November 3 to 9. Gasoline can rise by up to P3.50 a liter. Diesel falls P1 and kerosene P1.90. The changes take effect on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Exact pump prices depend on retailers.
Por qué te importa
The DOE ties the changes to the world oil market and developments in the Middle East that affect supply and prices. The Philippines imports much of its fuel as finished products, so pump prices follow regional markets fast.

What happened. The DOE approved the weekly fuel price changes for November 3 to 9. Retailers may raise gasoline by up to P3.50 per liter and roll back diesel by P1.00 and kerosene by P1.90. Rappler words the diesel and kerosene cuts as at least P1 and at least P1.90. The actual changes depend on retailers. They take effect on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The start hour is not stated in the articles we opened.
The reason. The DOE says the changes follow movements in the global oil market, amid ongoing developments in the Middle East that affect global supply and prices. An oil industry source quoted by GMA News also named an easing supply outlook for diesel and higher imported costs of crude. The Philippines imports much of its petroleum as finished products, so pump prices follow regional fuel markets, freight costs and exchange rates.
Where prices stand. DOE monitoring for October 27 to November 2 put common prices in Metro Manila (NCR) at P84.20 per liter for RON95 gasoline, P83.30 for RON91, P94.50 for diesel and P123.90 for kerosene. Last week gasoline was rolled back P0.30, while diesel rose P1.20 and kerosene P0.50. GMA News says the net change since the start of the year, as of October 27, was a rise of P68.55 per liter for gasoline, P65.63 for diesel and P63.25 for kerosene.
Taxes. Excise taxes on LPG and kerosene stay suspended under Executive Order No. 125, issued by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in September. The relief does not cover gasoline or diesel.
What is not known. We could not open the DOE advisory page itself, so we rely on its text as quoted by GMA News. We have no brand-by-brand prices. We have no forecast for next week either. This is an overview, not advice.
