ETFs show what big US money is doing. The outflows came as bitcoin fell below $76,000 and the Nasdaq had its worst day since April 2025. The post-election gains in the US were wiped out in a day.
O que conferir e observar
Watch flows on Friday and next week. A key point is whether BlackRock's IBIT outflow streak continues: five sessions in a row, more than $1 billion since October 30. This is an overview, not advice.

What happened. On Thursday, November 5, US spot bitcoin ETFs, meaning exchange traded funds that hold real bitcoin, lost $430.2 million. Ether ETFs lost $99.9 million. The figures come from Farside Investors, which tracks daily flows for every fund. Cointelegraph, citing SoSoValue, reports the same totals: about $430 million and $100 million.
Who lost money. Fidelity's FBTC saw the biggest outflow, $199.9 million, a day after taking in about $237 million. BlackRock's IBIT lost $105 million. According to Cointelegraph, that is IBIT's fifth straight day of outflows, more than $1 billion since October 30. Among ether ETFs, BlackRock's ETHA accounted for most of the outflow at $75.2 million.
The backdrop. On Wednesday, November 4, after Democratic wins in the US midterm elections, bitcoin briefly rose above $80,000 and the funds took in about $128 million. On Thursday bitcoin dropped back below $76,000 and the Nasdaq fell 5.5%. Citing Reuters, Cointelegraph says that was its worst day since April 2025.
Caveats. Daily flows swing a lot, and one day does not make a trend. By Cointelegraph's count, bitcoin ETFs are about $510 million in net outflows for the year so far. Flow data does not tell us why investors sold.
