The average temperature: all the leaders' view on bitcoin, gold, oil and stocks against what the market actually does.
How we count: arithmetic only
- We take the public posts of the accounts listed below. Replies and reposts do not count.
- YouTube: once a day we take the new videos of the channels in the ranking. The call is the video title, read by the same words as on X: descriptions open with ads, so we skip them. Shorts and streams do not count. A channel counts only if its ID matches the official one, so look-alike channels with the same name never get in.
- Telegram: every hour we read the public channels through Telegram's own web preview (t.me/s), with no bot and no login. A channel counts only with 30,000+ subscribers and a median of 2,000+ views a post: many big channels have bought subscribers, and views show who is really read. Forwarded posts do not count. The call in a post (often in Russian) is found by AI (Claude) and counts only if its exact quote is in the post.
- A post counts only if the author names an asset and says where they think it goes: bullish, I'm long, breakout, bottom is in or bearish, I'm short, breakdown, top is in. News (BREAKING), other people's views ("analysts expect"), ratios of two assets, questions and "what ifs" do not count, "not bullish" reads the other way. Posts on X are tagged automatically by words, with no AI and no manual edits, so it is sometimes wrong: every post can be opened and checked.
- One person = one vote per asset per day. If they posted both ways that day, the balance counts. A tie does not count.
- Gauge: the arithmetic mean of the latest votes over 72 hours, from −100 (all expect a fall) to +100 (all expect a rise). Above +20 is BULLISH, below −20 BEARISH, in between NEUTRAL.
- The market on the same scale: the price change over the same 72 hours divided by the usual 72-hour move of that asset (from daily volatility over 4 months). ±100° means a move twice the usual one, so bitcoin and the dollar fit on one scale.
- Win rate: every call is checked 24 hours after the post. Price moved its way is a hit, against it is a miss. A move under 0.1% does not count. We show the percentage from 10 checked calls.
- Trust level is separate from win rate and uses only official decisions: regulators, courts, prosecutors, sanctions lists. "Do not trust": sanctions, a fraud conviction or guilty plea, an active regulator ban. "Has issues": fines, settlements with a regulator, actions against their company. If nothing is found we say "No regulator actions" with the date of the check: that is not a guarantee of honesty. Telegram authors are also checked against scam reports and reviews. A channel with public fraud accusations stays on the list with a red «Scam complaints» label, and its page collects the complaints with links to the sources, so everyone knows who their heroes are. Authors who sell signals get a «Sells signals» label.
- Crowd trust: only readers with an account vote, one vote per person, which they can change or remove. Index: the share of «I trust» votes out of all votes, shown from 3 votes. It does not affect the trust level or the win rate.
