What came out and what is coming

Each bubble is an unlock. The bigger it is, the more money comes to the market. The colour is how big it is for the coin: grey (minor) to red (very large).

FAQ

Quick answers

What is a token unlock?

When a project launches a token, most coins are locked: the team, investors and the ecosystem get them later on a schedule (vesting). An unlock is the day the next batch becomes available. More coins circulate, and if the new holders sell, the price can fall.

Which unlocks are the most dangerous?

Large ones relative to market cap (1–2% and more) and those going to the team and early investors: they bought cheap and sell more often. Unlocks to the community and rewards are usually spread out and weigh less.

Does the price always fall before an unlock?

No. The market often prices an unlock in ahead of time, and a bounce can follow. That is why we show what the price did 7 days before and after each token's past unlocks. It is history, not a forecast.

What does "locked with no schedule" mean?

Some tokens sit with the project with no announced release schedule. They can be released at any time, which is a separate dilution risk.

Where is the data from and how often does it update?

Tokenomist compiles the vesting schedules from project documents and smart contracts; prices come from Binance. We refresh the next unlocks daily and each token's data about every two weeks, more often before its unlock.
